1.Scheme of location of earthquake epicenters (at depths of 100 to 200 km) on the territory of Tajikistan and Afghanistan. Compiled by Yu.I. Nuiskov, V.N. Maksimov, V.M. Perekopsky in 1993-1995. There are used the seismic events for the period since 1990 to 1992. The lower boundary of sym.(?) classes is 9.0. The following is added by L.P.Papyrin: 1- axes of deep structures or seismic seams; 2- boundaries of deep structures or seismic seams; 3- location of epicenters of strong earthquakes in this region, within which the epicenter of Usoi earthquake of 1911 is located; area of formation of enormous landslides.
